We spent one afternoon last week with my friend Jo and her kids, Ryder and Sage. They have a really nice pool. We went swimming and had lunch with them. The little girls had fun playing dress up too. We had a great time. Alivia has been asking to call Sage on the phone since. The kids had a ball and didn't want to go home, but they all had good naps afterward. We can't wait until next time!Monday, June 30, 2008

Great news!
My sister-in-law Emily and her family spent some time with us this month, while here for infertility treatments. We had a great time with them! I just heard from Emily that the in-vitro was successful and she is officially pregnant! Yee haw! They have had 8 attempts and this is their second successful attempt. (The first was little Gracie.) We are so happy for them! Congrats Emmy, Clayton and Gracie!Saturday, June 21, 2008
Just a side note...
It is 110 degrees here today. We all ventured out to Albertson's to pick up a few things and on our way home had to stop by 7-11 for Slurpees. By the time we got home we were all pooped out and crashed. It's blazing!
What a cute little comedian!
Alivia has been telling us this joke for the past few weeks and it's really cute. She learned it from her sisters. It's crazy how fast they pick up on stuff. I've been meaning to post it and finally got around to it. Enjoy! In case you can't understand her very well, I included the dialogue:
Knock, knock. Who's there? Boo. Boo who. Don't cry it's just a joke.
P.S. You might have to turn off the playlist (at the bottom of the blog) in order to hear her.

The (seemingly) neverending 100 degree days are here...
One of the best things about Las Vegas, are the parks. We have four really fun ones within our development. Two of which have the water fountains (like at at the Gateway). The kids love it and it is definitely a reprieve from the brutal summer heat. The third one from the left is the girl's cousin, Grace. They've all had a great time together!

Our girl has some rhythm!
Allie has been in a hip hop class for the last three months. Today was her recital and it was so much fun to see what she has learned. She is so cute and works hard to master whatever it is that she is doing. What a girl!

Two peas in a pod...
These two little girls are so much fun! One day this last week I let them play out on the patio in the hose. At first it started out just puddle jumping, then they dragged the hose out to the dirt and made a mud bog. Soon they were making themselves mud masks, while I was watching from the kitchen window, laughing. Sometimes you just have to let them be and clean up the mess later. They had so much fun!Allie Girl
