Valentine's Day, record snowfall...in Texas and a lost tooth...

February was an exciting month for us...Livvy had her Valentine's Day program at preschool. It was so cute! She loves her teachers and friends at school! We also had record snow in Texas. We got about 12 inches within about 24 hours. School was closed and we made a fun day out of it. We are the only people in the neighborhood with a snow shovel and a sled. :) Ashlie also lost one of her top teeth. As always it was quite dramatic for her to lose it. She cried for about an hour before it came out.

Let's go Cards!!!

Phil and I got to travel to Phoenix together and meet up with some friends for the Card's game. We had so much fun together and it was a much needed trip for us!

Birthday Girls...

For those of you who don't know yet, all of our girls were born in January. Apparently I just happen to be fertile in April. Anyway, we get two weeks of birthday cake a year and then we are DONE! The girls don't mind sharing the month and it seems like we just celebrate for 2 weeks straight. Kind of fun! This year they got a trampoline for their birthdays. They love it and it gives them something active to do outside. We can't believe how grown up they are getting and we love them all so much! To top it off they are really good kids.

Happy 2010!!

We celebrated the new year with Jeff and our friends the Salowski's. We played games and had a great time. Above all the kids had fun playing together and staying up late!

Merry Christmas from Texas...

Our first Christmas in Texas turned out to be a great one! We had uncle Jeff with us and the girls were so excited for Santa to visit. Our family was adopted by an elf that we named Hoppoh and he hung out at our house between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was fun! We even got snow on Christmas Eve. It melted really fast but, it made for a very festive mood for us all. Christmas Eve we had our traditional ham dinner then we watched Joy to the World and got all snuggled up in our beds. The girls had a really hard time sleeping (who would have thought?) At about 6:30 Christmas morning, we were startled awake by uncle Jeff yelling that he had Santa in a headlock and to hurry before he got away. By the time we got there all he had left was an elf hat. The girls had a lot of fun and we all had a Christmas day nap! It was a great day!

Thanksgiving 2009

For Thanksgiving, Phil's parents, sister Margaret and her daughter Amy, sister Emily her husband Clayton and daughters Grace and Kate, drove 20 hours for a visit with us. We were so glad to have them here. We visited, played Dutch Blitz, watched movies, played out in the backyard, went to the park, ate a lot of yummy food, played football and visited some more. It was so much fun! Also, I set up my Christmas tree and made it our thankful tree. We each wrote on leaves, the things that we are thankful for. It was so nice to have family here for Thanksgiving! Oh and everyone pitched in and helped cook dinner! The food was sooooo great! The kids all had a blast with one another and I got to kiss baby Kate a whole bunch. She is a sweetheart!

Halloween 2009

This year for Halloween we had our friends Craig and Lisa here visiting with us. We had pizza from our favorite pizza place in Rockwall and went Trick or Treating with the girls. We carved our pumpkins a few days before and baked our traditional sugar cookies. Allie dressed up at SuperMOM, Ashlie was BatGirl, and Livvy was SuperGirl. It was a fun year!

My weekend in Vegas...

In mid-October I got to fly to Vegas for a weekend with my gals. I had a blast. We ran a 5k together, went to a dance class, got massages, out to dinner etc. It was so much hanging out! I miss them all so much!

First Day of School 2009-2010

We always start the new school year out with new haircuts...it took a few inches to get all the dead dry summer hair off.
Allie started 4th grade

Ashlie started kindergarten

And Miss Livvy started preschool...

Summer Vacation Part 9...Saying Goodbye!!!

We were gone from our home in Texas for 9 weeks. Finally it was time to say goodbye! The girls had so much fun playing with all their friends and cousins! They most especially miss Amy!

Summer Vacation Part 8...Hiking to Timp Cave

At the very end of our Summer Vacation we hiked up to Timp Cave with our friend's the Packer's. We had a little picnic and a LONG hike. We all had a lot of fun! I thought that I was in okay shape until I did that hike. I was so sore for a few days afterwards. The kids all hiked the whole way up and I ended up carrying Livvy down on my back. She fell asleep and the other kids were so tired by the time we got done. Surprisingly I had never done this hike but, I loved it. It was beautiful! Also, I got to spend time with my good friend Charmayne. It was so nice to hang out with her and her kids!

Summer Vacation Part 7...Camping at Allred Flats and The Cranney Reunion...

After Bear Lake we headed up the canyon to camp at Allred Flats. It's very remote and in bear country. We were only there for a short time but, we did enjoy our time there. It was very quiet and cool. There was a little stream by our camping spot and the girls enjoyed dipping their toes in it. We grilled rib-eyes and made s'mores later on. YUM!

Later we went to my Grandad's family reunion. Mostly my dad's family and his cousins. My aunt June is the only one left of my Grandad's siblings. Some of my cousins were there and we played a lot of games at the park with our kids and I went for a run on Saturday morning with my cousin Josh. It was great! I love all my Forsyth cousins! It was great fun to see them! My kids totally loved hanging out with them. My only regret is that I didn't get many pictures at the reunion.
