Thank goodness for the wind...

I never in my life thought I would say thank goodness for the wind. But, today I was so glad it was windy. Why, do you ask. Because I never would have been able to run 3 miles without water in dead muggy air. It was 85 degrees when I finally got out the door to run. I'm supposed to run 8 miles tomorrow. So, I think better get out early and hope it's slightly breezy. Running in different climates is definitely an adventure.

Post-edit: I ran my 8 miles today (with my waterpack) and felt pretty dang good and the weather cooperated, so it was fabulous!

about the scrapbooking...I use a program called photo impact, but if you have photoshop that is pretty much the same thing. Go to a site called shabbyprincess.com. They have the cutest free downloads for scrapbooking I've ever seen. In the upper left-hand corner of this site you'll find a link called "downloads". Go check it out!

I just got caught up on your blog. It sounds like you guys are doing very well. I am glad you are settling in. Does Phil have to always be gone that much or will it slow down??
